Strengthening Healthcare with Japan’s (GGP grant) Support! 🇯🇵🤝🇵🇰

On October 9, 2025, the Government of Japan signed new GGP grant funds to support Muhammadi Haematology, Oncology Services & Welfare Foundation in advancing thalassemia prevention and strengthening healthcare services through well-equipped analyzers under Japan GGP Grant support.

The signing ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Mr. HATTORI Masaru, Consul General of Japan in Karachi, under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).

Syed Mehdi Rizvi, Chief Executive Officer of Muhammadi Welfare Foundation, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to His Excellency, the Consul General of Japan, and the people of Japan, who generously provided these funds from their taxes to uplift healthcare in Pakistan.

On this occasion, Finance Secretary S.M. Sikander Rizvi, Head of Resource Generation Department Abid Ali Awan, Project Coordinator Sammar Fatima were also present.

Project Summery

This collaboration marks another step forward in our mission to ensure safe blood transfusion, promote thalassemia prevention, and strengthen community health systems.
